Ansonica (or Inzolia in Sicily) is a Sicilian white grape grown also along the Tuscan coast (around Argentario). The variety produces medium-bodied, aromatic, slightly bitter-tinged whites with citrus and almond notes, well-suited to seafood. In Sicily it is a blending partner with Catarratto and Grillo in traditional whites.
