Quinta de Santa Cristina

Quinta de Santa Cristina is an historic 17th-century estate in Celorico de Basto, in the inland sub-region of Basto in Vinho Verde. The property combines a beautifully preserved baroque manor with 35 hectares of vineyards on granite soils planted with Loureiro, Alvarinho and traditional reds. The visit takes in the historic chapel, the manor's library and tastings of the estate's range — including notable old-vine bottlings that demonstrate the more textured, fuller-bodied side of Vinho Verde.

Family property with professional production since 2004, in the sub-region of Basto. Quinta de Santa Cristina has a secular history, belonging to the same family for several generations, and is currently owned by Mr. António Pinto, Ms. Rosa Maria Pinto, and their daughter, Mónica Pinto.
