The Sandeman family's iconic Douro estate in Tabuaço, Quinta do Seixo sits on a curve of the Douro river facing the dramatic Cima Corgo terraces — one of the most photographed views in the entire Douro Demarcated Region. The visitor centre is one of the most ambitious and well-organised in the Douro, with multiple tour options, vertical Sandeman tastings, lunch on a panoramic terrace and harvest demonstrations in the original granite lagares each September. The Sandeman silhouette (the "Don") is the brand's global icon since 1928.
