Veiga França wines are a brand steeped in the history of Henriques & Henriques, founded by João Gonçalves Henriques in 1850. After his death in 1912, his sons Francisco Eduardo and João Joaquim formed a partnership that gave the company its current name. From the outset Henriques & Henriques has been a key player in Portuguese viticulture and winemaking, formally incorporated in 1913 and beginning to export its wines in 1925, rather than selling locally. The firm has since embraced cutting‑edge technology while preserving a 200‑year family tradition of crafting the finest Madeiras. Full control of every production stage lets H&H deliver wines of exceptional quality. The bottling year may not match the illustration (illustrative only).
