The Quinta do Castelinho, located in the municipality of São João da Pesqueira, was acquired in 1964 by Manuel Santos, giving rise to Castelinho Vinhos, a family‑run venture dedicated to producing Port and Douro DOC wines. In 2001, the estate joined the Douro Wine Devotion, which already owned Quinta do Cerro da Nora. After a major overhaul in 2005, Quinta do Castelinho gained a completely renovated cellar equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology, blending tradition and modernity. Here the grapes from the principal Douro varieties are vinified, producing wines that express the region’s identity through a balance of heritage, innovation, and meticulous attention to detail.
