Founded in 1859 by António Alves Cálem, Porto Cálem has remained in the same family for four generations and has always devoted great attention to producing quality Port wines, earning worldwide recognition. With its famous “Velhotes” line of Port, launched in 1934, the brand gained national prominence and became Portugal’s top-selling label, moving more than three million bottles each year. Today, Cálem is part of the Sogevinus Group, which continues to preserve brands created five centuries ago. The bottling year may not match the image shown. (Illustrative image only)
