Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, with a focus on exporting Port wine to Scandinavian markets and Germany. Today, Wiese & Krohn—now simply Krohn—is managed by the third generation of the Edmundo Falcão Carneiro family, who had overseen the firm’s wine export since 1910.
