Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, with a focus on exporting Port wine to the Scandinavian markets and Germany. Today, Wiese & Krohn—now simply Krohn—is run by the third generation of the Edmundo Falcão Carneiro family, who have overseen the firm’s wine exports since 1910.
