The Golden White 1963 was, and still is, something extraordinary. For those who have long been searching for a fabulous Port, associated for example with a birth year or some special occasion, this is an excellent reference to consider and, although it is a difficult vintage to find, it remains a Colheita White Port. The Golden White 1963 greets us with a golden amber colour and a complex aroma with notes of quince marmalade, dried fruits and tangerine. On both the nose and the palate, notes of toffee emerge, elegantly balanced by a rich, citrus acidity. The finish is unctuous, distinguished and extremely long. C. da Silva is a house with a strong tradition in Port wine production. Founded in 1862, its current name was established in the first decades of the 20th century, with the mission of producing Ports of high quality standards, ensuring the prestige, reputation and perceived value of the brand. C. da Silva is known for its beautiful and exclusive "Colheitas", such as the Golden White of 1952, 1963 and 1971. The bottling year may not correspond to the image shown.
