C.N. Kopke is the oldest Port wine company. It was founded in 1638 by Cristiano Kopke and his son, Nicolau Kopke, who had come to Portugal as Consul of the Hanseatic League. With four centuries of success in the world of Port wines, the Kopke brand—acquired by the Sogevinus group in 2006—today stands as a prestigious benchmark, upholding the quality standards that have guided it through the years, and is especially renowned for its Harvest Ports, enjoying high recognition in the sector.
