From 1988, this Verdelho D'Oliveiras is a generous, very aged wine classified as “Frasqueira.” It came from a vintage reserve of the owning family’s estate and was made from one of the most noble grapes on Madeira Island, the Verdelho, giving it a slightly fuller body and lower acidity than wines from the Sercial grape or the Meio Seco style. Undoubtedly, this wine is of great quality and excellence. Pereira d'Oliveira is an independent Madeira wine producer, run by descendants of the founding owners. The company is owned by three siblings, with Aníbal D´Oliveira and Luís D´Oliveira managing operations, representing the fifth generation of knowledge and experience dedicated to the production, marketing, and export of Madeira wine. The company works with five Madeira producers, all from families native to the island, the oldest dating back to 1820. Their cellars hold a considerable stock of old and rare wines derived from the valuable viticultural heritage of these companies, which currently add value to Pereira D'Oliveira (Vinhos).
