Since 1999, the Vranken Pommery Monopole Group has owned Rozès, a wine house with a centuries‑old link to the Douro. As the first exporting group of Port wine to set up in the Douro Demarcated Region, Rozès has solidified its presence in both national and international markets, mastering the art of its wines through meticulous control of every stage of viticulture in the Douro—from vine planting to ageing and bottling. Founded in Bordeaux in 1855 by Ostende Rozès, a dealer of fine wines from that city, the company originally imported and sold Port wine. The bottling year may not correspond to the image shown (image is purely illustrative).
