Quinta do Estanho is referenced in the first viticultural demarcation of “De Feitoria,” dating back to 1757. It lies on the left bank of the Pinhão River at an average altitude of 300 m and has been producing quality wines for several generations. Its owner, Jaime Acácio Queiroz Cardoso, became, in 1987, the second producer, bottler, and exporter in the entire Douro region, marketing his wines directly to Portuguese and international markets.
