The Quinta do Vesuvio estate dates back to the 19th century and has been owned by the Symington family since 1989. This magnificent estate in the Douro Valley covers some 326 hectares, of which 133 are planted with vines. The contrast in elevation across the property gives its wines unmatched structure, complexity and ageing potential. The estate also preserves traditional winemaking methods, which set Quinta do Vesuvio apart as the only property that continues to actively produce its wines on this basis.
