Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, with a business built on exporting Port wine to the Scandinavian markets and to Germany. Today, Wiese & Krohn, now simply Krohn, is managed by the third generation of the Edmundo Falcão Carneiro family, who had overseen the firm's wine exports since 1910.
