Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, initially focused on exporting Port wine to the Scandinavian markets and Germany. Today, Wiese & Krohn—now simply Krohn—is run by the third generation of the family of Edmundo Falcão Carneiro, who had overseen the firm's wine exports since 1910.
