Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, as a company that exported Port wine to Scandinavian markets and to Germany. Today, Wiese & Krohn—now simply Krohn—is run by the third generation of Edmundo Falcão Carneiro’s family, who had been managing the firm's wine exports since 1910.
