Fine and elegant, this Noval vintage takes you on a journey through time. While the 10‑, 20‑, and 40‑year‑old Tawny vintages are blended wines crafted to preserve a consistent style, the Vintage expresses the character of the year it was produced. Each Vintage is unique, yet always marked by Noval’s terroir. These are extremely rare Port wines—among the best in the Douro region—made in very limited quantities and unfortunately under‑recognized. In exceptional years, batches with extraordinary aging potential are selected to be aged for a lifetime in casks. After a portion is bottled, the rest remains in casks, where it continues to mature and develop a new expression. Thus, the same Vintage can be released on the market at several points: after 15, 30, 40 years of aging, and even more in some cases. It is particularly enjoyable with cheese, dessert, or on its own, at any occasion. Decanting is unnecessary, as this filtered Port contains no sediment. Once opened, it can be enjoyed for up to three months, provided the bottle is stored in a cool place. This wine is ideal for serving by the glass. The bottling year may not match the image shown.
