Opaque, purple-black in colour with a narrow violet halo. Stylish and energetic in character, with a dense nose of blackcurrant and forest fruits, lightly veiled by subtle herbal nuances and aromas of violets and rose petals. As always, Taylor's classic elegance and restraint conceal the energy and vigour of the wine. On the palate it shows lean, vigorous and tight tannins, so characteristic of the Taylor's style, along with the vibrant, clearly defined fruit flavours that mark the 2007 vintage Port. Founded more than three centuries ago, in 1692, Taylor's is one of the oldest Port wine shippers, devoted exclusively to the production of Port wine and, above all, its finest styles.
