The Quinta do Vesuvio estate dates back to the 19th century and has been owned by the Symington family since 1989. A magnificent quinta in the Douro region, it covers about 326 hectares, of which 133 are planted with vines. The contrast in the estate's altitudes gives the wines unrivalled structure, complexity and ageing potential, and the preservation of traditional winemaking methods distinguishes Quinta do Vesuvio as the only property that continues to actively produce its wines on this basis.
