Tokaj Classic Winery is situated in the heart of the Mád region, and its wines are the result of volcanic and post‑volcanic terroir. The soil, rich in rhyolite‑tufa, zeolite, quartz, kaolinite and trace elements, preserves and retains moisture. This uncommon, highly vine‑friendly soil gives rise to wines that bear the distinctive, pronounced acidity characteristic of sweet wines. Over the last 20 years the estate has exported its highly regarded high‑quality wines to many countries. While production has focused on sweet wines, recent years have seen growing interest in dry wines, expanding the range to include dry wines that showcase all the fantastic attributes of this unique production area.
