Two winemakers who have shaped the history of Portuguese wine over the past decades, in two regions the world recognizes for their high quality and distinctive character, the Douro and the Alentejo, come together again in a project conceived for the Douro, in the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior subregions, two exceptional and protected terroirs. Thus was born Duorum, a project dreamed of and realized in the Douro's age-old vineyards. Duorum Vinhos began its activity in January 2007 and embodies the aspiration of João Portugal Ramos and José Maria Soares Franco to combine their professional winemaking expertise in a project producing Douro wines of unique character and international scale.
