C.N. Kopke is the oldest Port wine company. Founded in 1638 by Cristiano Kopke and his son Nicolau Kopke—who had come to Portugal as Consul of the Hanseatic League—it has built four centuries of success in the world of Port wines. Acquired in 2006 by the Sogevinus group, the Kopke brand remains a prestigious benchmark, upholding the quality goals that have guided it in the market for years, and is especially renowned for its Harvest Ports, which enjoy high visibility in the sector.
