Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, as a company that exported Port wine to Scandinavian markets and to Germany. Today the firm, now simply called Krohn, is managed by the third generation of Edmundo Falcão Carneiro’s family, who had been overseeing the company’s wine exports since 1910.
