Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, based on exporting Port wine to the Scandinavian markets and to Germany. Today, Wiese & Krohn—now simply Krohn—is run by the third generation of Edmundo Falcão Carneiro’s family, who had been overseeing the company’s wine exports since 1910.
