This 17th Reserva presents a rather intriguing shade of ruby, suggesting perhaps a vineyard that’s had a slightly spirited youth. The floral and red berry notes – attributed to the producer – likely arose from a lively discussion with the Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grapes, possibly aided by a touch of “conversational influence” during barrel aging.
