This Arinto from the Azores is a truly evocative wine – you can almost hear the Atlantic crashing. Harvested by hand, it boasts a luxuriously smooth texture achieved through whole-cluster pressing, immediately transporting you to the coast with notes of citrus and a subtle tropical warmth, very characteristic of the islands. Following six months ageing on the lees, it develops a lovely saline persistence, making it an ideal partner for fresh oysters or grilled fish.
