O Coroa 200 Cestos is a Godello made exclusively from old‑vine grapes grown in the Valdeaugas plot. Its distinctive terroir features granite soils that lend the wine a pronounced minerality, and its 615‑metre altitude delivers a lively acidity that translates into very expressive, varietal wines with marked freshness and a great ageing potential. Interestingly, the name “200 Cestos” (baskets) comes from the amount of grapes that were once harvested from this plot in wicker baskets of about 35 kg each.
