This Borba Premium Alentejo isn’t shy – it announces itself with gusto. Grown in the Alentejo’s famously clay-rich soil, it really allows the native Aragonez and Trincadeira grapes to shine with considerable intensity. The result is a full-bodied wine with a good structure and plenty of freshness, a hallmark of this region. Winning a Gold Award from the Portuguese Wines Recognition is a pretty good indicator, and it pairs wonderfully with a hearty bean stew, wouldn’t you agree?
