This wine, once hailed as “liquid gold” from these Beira vineyards, delivers an experience that goes beyond the ordinary. Built on Malvasia Fina and a touch of Cerceal Branco, it’s a remarkably complex white that belies its youth. The extended, 15-day maceration has gifted it a particular elegance, while the 6-month aging in used French oak barrels has subtly layered in woody nuances, thankfully without sacrificing the wine's refreshing character. Best enjoyed now, but with the anticipation of further layers of flavour emerging with time – a fantastic match for delicately grilled crustaceans or white fish.
