Description

Sovibor is the result of merging two small producers who, many years before 1968, began their respective activities and later founded the companies Manuel Joaquim Mira and Domingos Luiz Pinto & Filho, Lda., both steeped in long vineyard traditions. As a consequence, Sovibor is run by people traditionally tied to viticulture. The winery is located in Borba, in the Alentejo, and while it boasts the latest technology for producing quality wines, it still maintains an old and beautiful aging cellar holding roughly three thousand hectolitres in wooden barrels.
