Old wine bottles may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is consistent with their age. The National Wine Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, yet it always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, by convention, reveal distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we note that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas evolve differently. Therefore, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine breathe first, helping to release its natural aromas after so many years closed.
