“This Arinto and Terrantez blend from Pico Island, hailing from the volcanic Azores, has clearly been well-cared for. Following a careful fermentation in concrete tanks – a touch of modernity the terroir evidently appreciates – it was gently matured for four months in French oak, imparting subtle vanilla nuances. The result is a wine that embraces the oak’s influence beautifully, whilst retaining the signature freshness and vibrancy of these distinctive grape varieties. A fantastic match with grilled fish or freshly shucked shellfish.”
