AdegaMãe Verão 2014 Winemaking at AdegaMãe strives for perfection. The year unfolded as expected: it rained when it needed to, and the ensuing ripening proved very intriguing, leaving the enology team thrilled by the grapes’ potential. The white harvest began even on the most calcareous plots, which are regarded as the most distinctive in expressing the AdegaMãe do Oeste terroir. And unexpectedly, the rain arrived… For grapes still on the vine, that harvest would always pose a challenge. For those already in the cellar, conditions seemed ideal. Though certainty was not yet guaranteed, AdegaMãe released another edition of its Terroir Branco, the house’s top‑tier wine, bottled only in special years. After the 2013 first edition, its successor emerged. Now, having completed the entire production process, the AdegaMãe Terroir Branco 2014 is finally announced and released to market.
