The wine Adegamãe Vinhas Velhas is produced in the heart of Serra de Montejunto, on a south‑facing slope near the villages of Avenal and Pereiro. A plot of Vital vines, more than 40 years old, endures the harsh climate, and, considering the variety’s own difficulty, its rarity and the specific location (Montejunto is one of the iconic terroirs for this grape), the wines it can yield make it a true treasure. Vinification: hand‑harvested and lightly pressed, with 48 hours of static cold decantation. Fermentation occurs in a cement “egg” at controlled temperature for 20 days, followed by 10 months of ageing. The result is a special wine from an old Vital vineyard, evolved in a cement egg that preserves the fruit’s character and reveals a unique texture and complexity. It pairs wonderfully with meat dishes, lamb and oven‑baked fatty fish. Allergen information: contains sulfites. SKU: 106549
