Fanio is one of the most unique vineyards in Penedès. Planted on seven small terraces and managed with biodynamic practices to enhance terroir expression, the grapes are vinified traditionally yet on the edge, allowing their lees to remain in contact for several months. Another quirk is that the winemaking process incorporates cement eggs and acacia barrels.
