Alexandre Policarpo, producer in Borba, the second‑largest sub‑region of Alentejo, sprawled along the axis that links Estremoz to Terrugem and extending through Orada, Vila Viçosa, Rio de Moinhos, and Alandroal. These lands are marked by unique soils, colossal marble deposits that indelibly and decisively shape viticulture and the character of wines in the sub‑region.
