This Aliança Bairrada Reserva, a beautiful echo of enologist Ángel Nevés’s golden era, truly showcases the region’s tenacity. Crafted with Bical and Fernão Pires – the defining grapes of Bairrada – the 2022 vintage faced some tricky water shortages, which surprisingly gifted the wine with remarkable freshness and elegance. The unusual maceration and careful handling of the “lágrima” must resulted in a wine brimming with vibrant aromas, a subtle saline note, and is, without a doubt, a fantastic match for grilled fish with lemon.
