The bottles of old wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected given their age. The National Wine Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that normally reveal distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we inform that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas are subject to different evolutions. Therefore, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine air out beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after many years closed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, ensure you do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment that an old wine tends to produce. (illustrative image)
