The bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is expected given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands and regions that normally reveal distinct characteristics in vintage wine tastings. Nevertheless, we inform you that wine is a living organism that, even within a bottle, its aromas evolve over time. Thus, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine air out beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years sealed. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently to detect the appearance of sediment, which an old wine tends to produce. (illustrative image)
