The bottles of older wines may show traces of dust and damaged labels, as expected given their age. The National Wine Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always preserves the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, by default, reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we inform you that wine is a living organism exposed to time, and even within a bottle, aromas evolve in different ways. Thus, the National Wine Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, helping release its natural aromas after so many years closed. If you choose to decant before serving, do it patiently to detect the sediment that an old wine tends to develop. (illustrative image only)
