The National Bottling House is committed to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but it always preserves the visual appearance appropriate to their age. We usually select brands/regions that perform well in old wine competitions, and in this case the Ferreirinha wines are generally highly praised. However, wine is a living organism that, like others, is exposed to time; even within a bottle, aromas evolve differently. Thus, the National Bottling House cannot be held responsible for the wine’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open and let the bottle breathe beforehand, which will help release the wine’s natural aromas after so many years of closure.
