This innovative project, spearheaded by AdegaMãe and the Leiria Penitentiary, has resulted in a new wine brand, “Inclusus.” The Tinto and Branco wines are the product of young inmates’ involvement across the entire winemaking process, from viticulture and harvest to the final steps in the cellar. It’s a fascinating initiative aimed at fostering social reintegration through wine – and, quite frankly, a testament to the potential within.
