“Anselmo Mendes Tempo” is a truly enchanting wine, brimming with vibrant green character. This Loureiro, meticulously harvested from a vineyard exceeding 200 metres above sea level and boasting over 15 years of age, unfolds with remarkable exuberance. The extended maceration, including the grape skins, combined with regular “bâttonage,” ensures the classic Loureiro expresses its full soul – revealing aromas of jasmine, caramelized orange peel, and a subtle hint of smoke from the French oak barrel.
