This “Antítese” is certainly a name that sets expectations – and it delivers! Built on a solid Castelão foundation, typical of the Alentejo, it offers a classic structure alongside lovely red fruit notes. The addition of the Mediterranean Marselan brings a welcome vibrancy and herbaceous lift, almost a whisper of wild thyme. The acidity is beautifully balanced, reminiscent of a fine Trancoso, and the finish lingers delightfully on the palate. Seriously, pairing this with roasted rabbits seasoned with fragrant herbs feels utterly brilliant.
