In a limited production of 500 bottles, this red wine is crafted from 95 % Baga and 5 % Castelão grapes, hand‑picked. It displays a garnet hue, with ripe red fruit notes and already tertiary aromas reminiscent of a cigar box. Thanks to its excellent complexity and silky tannins, it becomes a gastronomic wine of great palatal pleasure. António Guerreiro, a lifelong enthusiast of the Bairrada wine region, chose this area to develop his personal project. Drawing on his experience as an Escanção, he brings the knowledge needed to create his own wines, in a region that has made him one of its ambassadors. (illustrative image only)
