This “Anuncida Velha” from the Tejo region certainly seems to have been on a little holiday itself. The nose hints at a spirited character – ripe red fruit alongside a touch of herbaceousness reflecting the local soil – promising a refreshingly uncomplicated and enjoyable experience. Rumour has it it scooped a prize at Guia Vinho, suggesting the producer skillfully captured the best of the Trincadeira, resulting in a wine with good balance and a lingering finish. Ideal for accompanying small bites or a grilled fish, perhaps?
