This Aphros Loureiro Biológico certainly had a rather spirited youth. Maturation on the lees, combined with contact with French oak and chestnut barrels, hints at a touch of rebellious charm – a characteristic perfectly suited to the Vinho Verde’s signature vibrancy. It’s as if the Loureiro decided to give traditional methods a little shake-up, resulting in a refreshingly crisp wine that would be absolutely divine with grilled fish and a squeeze of lemon.
