Description

The wines of Adega de Arruda come from the Lisbon wine region. The terroir, with its Atlantic influence, together with quality concepts applied in vineyard cultivation, provide excellent conditions for producing robust, expressive reds of great character, as well as light, fruit‑forward whites. Although Arruda lacks mountain massifs or significant altitudes, its predominantly hillside relief, valley orientation, and Atlantic influence shape a climate marked by mild temperatures, moderate rainfall, no late frosts, and relative humidity. The most suitable soils for grape growing have Jurassic origins and are predominantly clay‑limestone.
