Art.Terra is the result of searching for the genuine expression of terroir and the grape varieties it contains, using the ancestral method of vinification in clay vats. Casa Relvas is a family project that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, and aims to continue the story of five generations with a strong passion for Alentejo and its genuine nature. Over the years, the family grew alongside the business, and it didn’t take long before it reached about 750 ha of montado forest, 225 ha of olive grove and 350 ha of vineyards, all 100 % integrated production. With the three estates – Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede – Casa Relvas can produce, annually, 6 million bottles of wine, 70 % of which go to satisfy external market needs, and is present in more than 30 countries worldwide, offering the best of Alentejo.
